The Forum has addressed the important themes in environmental work which summarized in the implementation of the strategy of sustainable development and the environment, and reduce the impact of exploration and production on the environment, and the integration of renewable energy and nuclear energy in the energy mix, and management and recycling of waste. The Forum also discussed the effective management of water resources, and financing of environmental projects in the Kingdom and the Middle East, and the techniques and systems to protect the environment air, land and sea to the Gulf region, and strategies for sustainable green buildings to support the expansion of the city, and improve the efficiency of energy use.
Participants in the forum are the interested researchers in the areas of environment and sustainable development and a number of local and regional organizations and international agencies, experts and researchers from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States and Arab nations and the world.
